Happy Thanksgiving!
I can not believe it is already Turkey Day. Where have the last couple months gone?!?! Rosie is already three months old and as cheesy as it sounds, it seems like just yesterday when we introduced her to the world. She growing and changing so much and Bobby & I are loving every minute of being her parents (even as I write this at 1 a.m. while I rock her to sleep).
I've been back to work for almost a month now. I'm enjoying being a high school teacher. I was nervous to make the transition but it's been a good one. I was also nervous to go back to work and leave Rosie of course, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Leaving her every morning really stinks but once I get to school and my student file into my room, I remember why I do what I do and it's all better. It also helps to know that Rosie is in good hands while I'm at work. She gets to spend her days getting spoiled rotten by her grandparents! All 4 of them take turns watching her during the week.
Bobby is currently working as a long term substitute teacher at a local high school. He's enjoying being in the classroom and we are praying that this may turn into a more permanent position for him. He's also still working hard as the children's ministry leader at WWBC. This past Sunday he had the privilege to baptize two of the young men from the Treehouse ministry! I am so proud of the work he is doing and love seeing God working in the lives of the kids in Treehouse.
So many new things have happened in Rosie's life since my last update :-) Two of the biggest highlights were her Uncle Paul & Aunt Cassie's wedding on September 26th and taking an airplane ride to visit her new cousin (who was born exactly one month after her on September 25th).

I've been thinking about all that we have to be thankful for as we prepare for our first Thanksgiving as a family of 3 and have decided to make a list (I stole this idea from my sister's blog). I'm thankful for...
1. My Savior who loves me despite all my screw ups.
2. My beautiful baby girl who makes a bad day wonderful with a little smile and giggle and who sleeps through the night...most of the time.
3. My amazing husband who does so much for our family...and cleans the bathroom!
4. Parents (both mine & Bobby's) who live close and are there when we need them...and who babysit.
5. A retired father-in-law who is always available to help do work around the house :-)
6. A mom who cooks for me every Monday night before bible study.
7. A sister who is only a phone call or text message away...and who is the best best-friend a girl could ask for.
8. A brother-in-law who takes good care of my best friend & her boys
9. Three of the cutest nephews in the world who's shenanigans bring joy to my life (even if they are driving their mother crazy)
10. A sister-in-law who not only spoils her neice rotten but is always there when I need her.
11. A brother & sister-in-law who are following God's lead and sacraficing so much to serve others.
12. All of our extended family.
13. All of our friends near and far
14. My job & great co-workers
15. My students who make my job both challenging and fun
16. A warm house to live in with a beautiful backyard.

19. Cloth diapers
20. Dryer balls
21. My iPhone
22. My laptop
23. The internet
24. Skype
25. Coupons
26. Our new car
27. My new Kindle

I hope you all have a wonderful Turkey day and maybe I won't wait so long between posts next time...but I'm not making any promises!
